
1.0 Good Neighborhood
1.1
Noise
must be kept to a minimum level at all times,
and no noise will be tolerated between 10 pm
and 7 am.
1.2
Drinking alcoholic beverages (in a respectful
manner) is allowed only within the limits of
the chalet. Illegal drugs are forbidden on the
domain.
1.3
Pets are welcome on the domain, if they are
kept on leash and restricted from excessive
barking; however, they are not
welcome
on the beach.
1.4
Are admitted on the domain: tenants, persons
who accompany them and their guests, as tenants
have specified in the reservation form. Tenants
are responsible for the behavior of their guests
and to make sure that the domain's rule and
regulations are respected. The owner reserves
the right to restrict access to the domain to
any other person.
2.0
Environment and safety
2.1
Tenants and their guests must
respect the environment, in order to preserve
fauna, flora and ecosystems, more precisely:
not to cut mushrooms, plants, flowers and aquatic
plants, not to damage trees, bushes, plants,
flowers and aquatic plants, not to hunt or trap
wild animals.
2.2
Tenants are responsible for the cleanliness
of the chalet and surrounding grounds.
2.3
Clothes washing and personal baths are strictly
forbidden in the lake.
2.4
Feminine protections and tampons (and applicators)
may not be disposed of in the lake.
2.5
Municipal by-laws forbid open fires elsewhere
than in specified areas.
Before
lighting a fire one must obtain a permit by
calling (450) 757-5894 (weeknights and weekends)
or (450) 883-2264 (weekdays). Fires
must be thoroughly extinguished prior to leaving
the area.
2.6
Weapons are strictly forbidden on the domain.
2.7
Water is drinkable.
3.0
Motorized Vehicles, Circulation and Parking
3.1
Speed limit for all vehicles
on the domain is 10 km/h.
3.2
The use of recreational vehicles on the domain
is accepted in order to access marked trails
only, and any recreational vehicle must comply
with the 10 km/h speed limit rule.
3.3
Every motorized vehicle must be parked in the
specified parking areas. It is forbidden to
park vehicles on the grass.
3.4
The beach may never be used to launch motorized
vehicles on the lake.
4.0
Beachfront
4.1
On the beach, only walkmans
are accepted.
4.2
It is forbidden to bring class or metal containers
and bottles on the beach.
4.3
All objects, whether personal or not, must be
brought back to the chalet every evening.
4.4
Boats must be locked (by the handle - do not
put locks into water) at all times when not
in use.
5.0
The Chalets
5.1
A phone is at your disposal for outgoing local
calls; you may receive calls. Phone numbers
are as follows: Administration (883-1550),
La Chanterelle (883-1527),
Le Paradis (883-1572), Le Pin Blanc
(883-1581),
Les Bruyères (883-1588), Le Petit
Poucet (883-1573) and Le Chalet
Bleu (883-1516). Long distance calls may
be done using your calling card, by dialing
1-800-555-1111.
5.2
Television uses the Bell ExpressVu System. To
select channels, set television on Channel 3
and use the Bell
ExpressVu
receiver.
5.3
Regardless of the season, all outside doors
must remain closed at all times, to prevent
wild animals from entering in the chalets.
5.4
When raining, windows exposed to wind and rain
must be closed.
5.5
In wintertime, windows must remain closed at
all times.
5.6
Fireplaces must be used with caution, do not
overfill them. Stay alert at all times. The
fireplace's door must be closed when you leave
the room.
5.7
BBQs must be used safely and never be left unattended
when in use. After each use, close completely
the gas valve.
5.8
None of the bedding towels may be used outdoors.
5.9
Before leaving, close the fireplace's door and
its opening key, make sure that al electrical
appliances are shut down and empty the refrigerator
and, in wintertime, readjust heating at 7,5oC.
5.10
Make sure to close and lock all doors and windows
before leaving, and bring keys back to the 521
Lac Pierre Nord.
6.0
Payment and Canceling Politics
6.1
A
deposit of half of the total amount must be
paid to confirm reservation. The
balance must be paid fourteen (14) days prior
to the arrival date. Should a payment not be
received, the reservation might be cancelled
without refund of the deposit.
6.2
To be partly refunded, cancellations must be
done
eight
(8)
weeks minimum before arrival date. Administration
fees of 10% of the total amount will however
be charged.
7.0
Miscellaneous
7.1
Immediate warning will be given should a rule
not be respected.
7.2
The
owner reserves the right without recourse to
expel any tenant who should refuse to comply
with the
Domain's
rules and regulations.
7.3
The Chalets d'Émélie's
owner does not assume any responsility as for
the material and/or physical damages that may
occur to tenants using the marked trails.
