The Historic behind
the cottage rental

Émélie Marchand Payette, was at the origin of this picturesque and peaceful domain. In 1934, she bought a first land around Lac Pierre, her birth land. After the construction of a first chalet, that she rented immediately, she continued of her launch, becoming the owner of a dozen of chalets well located with an exceptional beach.

Dignity courage, smartness, saving are the secrets of this urprising success.

At her death, she had sold five of her chalet; she had left hight to her six children. Her daughter Blanche and her husband Paul LeBeau bought five of them and tree more of the neighbourhood and named the domain “Les Chalets d’Émélie”. The task became much to heavy, their six children took over, transforming their rustic chalet in four seasons residences.

In remembering of her grand mother, aware that he is continuing the labour of two generations and eager to preserve the domain character, Louis-yves LeBeau kept the “Chalets d’Émélie” name for the chalets he now rent.
